How to Choose the Gender of Baby

Want to have another baby, but have your heart set on a little boy or a little girl?

Are you wondering if you can choose the gender of baby?

Well, you can. There are several things you and your significant other can do to increase you chances of having a baby girl or baby boy.

I tried several of these tips when I was trying to conceive my last baby and I was successful of conceiving my baby girl. Although it is not 100%, it is 94%. That is far better then the 50/50 chance when you leave it to chance.

There are several different methods you can follow and to get the best results you should do as many of them as you can. Here are a few examples:

Diet has an effect on baby's gender. If you want a boy you need to eat high potassium foods such as potatoes and bananas. If you are tying for a girl then you need to eat foods high in magnesium such as black beans and spinach.

Timing also plays a role in the sex of your child.

Female sperm (X gene) are bigger, slower and live longer. Male Sperm (Y sperm) are small, fast and don't live as long as female sperm. Therefore if you want a boy, you need to have intercourse as close to ovulation as possible. This will allow for the faster male sperm to fertilize the egg first. To have a girl, you want to have intercourse days before ovulation because the male sperm will die off leaving more girl sperm to fertilize the egg.
